Written and directed by Brad Bird, The Incredibles (2004) narrates the story of a family of superheroes. Starring Craig T Nelson, Holly Hunter and Jason Lee, this animated comedy gently conveys the message of love for family and the importance of sticking together. After being forced to turn into ordinary civilians and give up the use of their superpowers, Mr Incredible (Bob) and Elasticgirl (Helen) are seen raising their kids, Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack in the most common way possible. Bob reminisces every moment of his glory days, every day. Some nights, he indulges in vigilante work to get a thrill of the fast life. One fine day, Bob loses his temper at work, which cascades into him losing his job. With bills to pay and a family to feed, Bob's now on the lookout for another job. But on returning home that day, Bob discovers a voice message from Mirage who is seeking for Mr. Incredible's help in defeating one robot, promising him a grand reward. Owing to the situation, Bob agrees to go and soon finds that he can defeat the robot by cutting off its power supply. After defeating the robot, some skeletons are brought to light when Mr. Incredible discovers that Mirage works for a fan of his, now known as Syndrome, a super villain. Soon, Bob is captured and now its upto his family to come rescue him. The Incredibles was released in 2004 by Disney Studios, in Blu-Ray format with a U rating.
