The Gran Torino movie is about a Polish American Assembly line Worker and Korean War veteran living in the Michigan neighborhood in Detroit Area and how he makes his life useful for somebody else. Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood), has been living alone for a long time with his old dog at his home in Detroit. His neighborhood was previously a colony for the working class Americans, but is now being occupied by Asians. There is a local gang called The Spider's Gang that has terrorized the entire area. They are pressurizing one of his neighbor's kids to steal Walt's Ford Gran Torino. Walt catches him red handed and drives the gang away. The Gran Torino Film is about how Walt bonds with the boy and tries to make a decent man out of him. The Gran Torino 2008 movie also shows how Walt successfully completes his mission of turning Tao into a decent man. He helps him get a job and also gives him valuable dating advice. But everything takes a turn for the worse when Tao is confronted by the gang members and is beaten up, to which Walt reacts and assaults one of the gang members in their den. Reacting to this, the gang members carry out a shootout in the locality and rape Sue, Tao's sister. With all of this happening, Tao feels the need to take revenge from the gang members.
